Description
Through this beginner bundle, participants will kick off their learning journey with identifying common electronic components & basic soldering. This will then be followed by PCB (Printed Circuit Board) design, covering both designing schematics and PCB layout using the popular Eagle© PCB software design tool. So as to allow our soon-to-be maker to better appreciate the PCB as well as its fabrication method, we took the extra steps and structured our workshop to guide participants in making a piece of working electronic PCB manually from scratch! (Dealing with chemicals & drilling)
Our guided workshop is designed to be easy to digest, where learning is done through working hands-on example. The workshop aims to be both engaging & Inspiring for participants of various age & background.

We’d love them to come, because this will inspire them as they are the pillar of the future. But we will be dealing with hardware tools as well as chemical, thus, it is ideal to limit it to one child per adult.

Yes, all participants are required to bring your own laptop (with power supply), both Windows and Mac will work.
Yes. Lunch and tea-break will be provided.
We fully understand that you may have a hectic week & you might be reluctant to drive in or send your teenager to class during the weekend. We hear you! Therefore, we have engaged actual “school bus” service to safetly go around and provide pick-up service for our participants (Limited to Penang island for now).
