Start Your Maker Journey

ELECTRONIC MAKER WORKSHOP

Each student starts with a raw unpopulated Printed Circuit Board (PCB) & ends with a functional electronic device that could respond to human’s biding (programming). Throughout the fun-filled journey, student has the opportunity to experience the entire process of design, fabrication, and software customization that went into the creation of any piece of modern electronics device.

Hands-on Introduction to FreeRTOS™ on Arduino® Board

This is one of the many workshops which serves as a continuation of the above Electronic Maker Workshop. In this workshop, we will introduce the fundamental principles of Real-Time Multitasking Kernel created to fit into much less space & resource (low-end system) using FreeRTOS.

3D Printing & Wood Enclosure

During the 3D printing class, students learn the basic of 3D modeling and usage of the 3D printers. At the end of the session, students will also do some handy work to customize a wood enclosure to house their Arduino® board.

Build your own Digital FM Radio

This is one of the many workshops which serves as a continuation of the above Electronic Maker Workshop. In this workshop, students put together a digital FM tuner shield which includes audio amplifier, on-board speaker and a digital FM tuner. When combined with the Arduino® board, the end product will be a functional digital FM Radio.

RF Smart Home Control Add-On

This is one of the many workshops which serves as a continuation of the above Electronic Maker Workshop. In this workshop, students put together a Radio Frequency (RF) & WIFI control shield which will wirelessly communicate with a RF-enabled devices at home. The end product is a functional IOT device which is controlled via their smart phones.

Smart Home IoT with Micro:bit

This workshop is designed for our children to get hands-on experience with electronics, programming, assembling, and integration via multiple IoT projects. IoT stands for Internet of Things, which connects dumb devices around us like coffee machine, microwave, refrigerator to the internet, and uses software to connect them to our daily lives.

Xmas 2020

Christmas ? time is in the air; we couldn’t help ourselves in adding in some Christmas-y elements to our latest board. It is a single board ?, kinda “Arduino” IDE compatible yet cheap enough to be given out for free!

We hosted an online live workshop during Christmas day with the aim to get everyone started by changing the software (which includes blinking sequence and festive tunes).

Guess this will be a greetings card that doubles as an education gift ^^
