Description
During this ADVANCED (Part 1) of the Electronic Maker Workshop series, we will be looking into reusing Open-Source Hardware design more specifically the Arduino© project. The first half of the training will be focused on the hardware side of the project. By the end of this advanced level class, participants will be constructing a fully customized Powered-up Arduino© UNO board with numerous additional peripherals.
The final PCB design in this workshop will be individually inspected and verified by an experienced in house engineer before being submitted to our fabricating partner. Let me emphasize that the final PCB will be manufactured at the same level found in most industrial grade product, thus it is of the highest quality.
Electronics experience is helpful but not required – all are welcome!

We’d love them to come, because this will inspire them as they are the pillar of the future. But we will be dealing with hardware tools as well as chemical, thus, it is ideal to limit it to one child per adult.

Yes, all participants are required to bring your own laptop (with power supply), both Windows and Mac will work.
Yes. Lunch and tea-break will be provided.
We fully understand that you may have a hectic week & you might be reluctant to drive in or send your teenager to class during the weekend. We hear you! Therefore, we have engaged actual “school bus” service to safetly go around and provide pick-up service for our participants (Limited to Penang island for now).
